Pleasant Valley Days

Our family LOVES going to Young (aka Pleasant Valley) whenever we have a free weekend. Some people might think we're weird for loving this little town so much, but I don't care what they think. This town and the people who live there have found a permanent place in our hearts. You can drive down the road and everyone you see will give a little wave. It's fun to get to know them all... The cashiers at Cherry Creek store, the volunteers at the fire department who run bingo night, the nice old lady who works at the thrift store, members of the branch who we've known for years, the guy who owns hillbilliez....
What a fun place to be!
Every July they celebrate Pleasant Valley Days. We've never been able to go until this year. We made it into town just in time for the big parade! The kids loved seeing all the horses, old wagons, and old trucks. But if you asked them the best part of the parade would be the candy! They got TONS! I hope that we will be able to go next year.

Oh my gosh! your kids are HUGE! It doesn't seem that long since you moved and Madison looks old enough to be baptized. And with Nikki gone, we don't hear about you guys as much. Just wanted you to know you are missed!
